Ken Slaven
-For many years as a Jew, Ken followed teachings of Judaism.
-Amoung the many facets of Ken's life, is the fact that he is a former pro-golfer.
-Ken met Elaine during a difficult time in his life and through her he was led to Christ.
-Born Again December 8/1998 and engaged to Elaine the following day.

-Ken Benefitted greatly from "The Cleansing Stream" ministry, whom he helped bring to Canada.
-The Cleansing Stream Ministry is committed to maturing believers in personal cleansing, deliverance and spiritual warfare so they can be released to serve, minister and disciple others in the Body of Christ.

-In apx June 2011, Ken was diagnosed with stage 4 prostrate cancer and has made use of the difficulty to seek opportunities to witness to others including the medical personnel caring for him.
-Ken has developed a strong faith in Christ who is sustaining him through this difficult trial.
-Ken is accepting of whatever the Lord has in store for him, and vows to praise Him through it whatever the outcome and refuses to back down from that position of trust in God!  His wife Elaine encourages him to never give up in trusting God.

-One of his favourite meaningful scriptures is Proverbs 3:5&6

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight

-Ken is an inspiration to others around him as he lives his life in a God-honoring way!
