Your Son or Daughter Just Looked at Porn… Now What? ~ Brian Orme

So, your son or daughter recently looked at pornography and you found out. What do you do now?

teen-computer
That’s what porn does. It destroys lives a little over a long time and then all at once.

Well, your action plan could affect the course of his or her life—for a long, long time. It’s no small thing. Porn and porn addiction has ruined countless lives. What begins as a stolen glance, if unchecked, can swell into an avalanche of sin that crushes lives, families, churches and communities.
That’s what porn does. It destroys lives a little over a long time and then all at once.

This isn’t meant to scare you, but to remind you that the situation is serious. As a parent and a leader, you need to have an action plan to both prevent, discuss and confront the dangers of porn with your kids.
Here are seven things to consider if (or, more likely, when) that conversation happens.

1. Talk about it right then.
Don’t just pass it off, ignore it, or worse, act like it’s a macho thing to do and inadvertently encourage it. Sit down, right then, and talk about it together. Don’t overreact, don’t go crazy, just have a conversation about how it happened and what he or she saw. Ask for the details.

2. Discuss the why.
Instead of reacting with outrage or disappointment dig a little deeper and ask the why questions. Why did they confess? Why didn’t they? Why did they view porn? You could find out it was accidental or you may dig up some deeper issues about what’s really going on with your son or daughter. Then, discuss their motivation for viewing pornography—including the steps leading up to it and how they felt when they saw it and how they feel now.

3. Hit the Gospel.
It’s important to bring up the Gospel and talk about it early in the conversation. How? Explain to them that their sins are covered in Christ—that God looks at them and sees Jesus and his work on the cross and his resurrection. God still cares, listens and loves them deeply no matter what they’ve done, but the right response to sin is always repentance. You can also talk about the fact that as sons and daughters of the King we’re called to turn from anything that might hurt our relationship with Jesus. This is real life stuff. Also, one caution, don’t Bible-shame. You’re disappointed, I get it, but this is not a time to throw out Bible verses to make your son or daughter feel worse. Point to the positive aspects of forgiveness, grace and the Holy Spirit’s power to move us in a God-ward direction.

4. Talk about safeguards.
Find the entry points in their lives where porn might creep in: smart phone, tablet, T.V., laptop, etc. Discuss a clear action plan to help safeguard their hearts and their eyes. You might consider downloading a filtering app like Mobicip or Covenant Eyes. These apps block (for the most part) porn-related content and they give you the ability to monitor the activity on their devices. Discuss appropriate times to use devices. If your son or daughter goes to bed with their phone or laptop that could be a dangerous thing. Talk about it and set some smart boundaries. One note: just because you add some software doesn’t mean the issue is over. Which leads me to the next point.

5. Follow up.
One conversation and a filtering app isn’t the end. Not even close. Make sure and talk about what your son or daughter sees—both online and off—often. Check into their history, discuss their online habits and create an open dialogue about the dangers of porn. Do what you can to create a safe environment for you kids to discuss, confess and ask questions. Don’t shut it down after one conversation—that could do more damage than good by making them feel alone, ashamed and disconnected.

6. Don’t make it weird.
OK, talking about porn with your son or daughter is weird in itself, right? But you don’t have to make it any weirder than it already is. Talk about the specifics openly and confidently. The more clear, open and constructive you are the better.

7. Pray.
I mention this last, but it’s really something you should start doing before the conversation ever begins. Pray on your own for guidance, pray together and pray consistently. Don’t underestimate the power of prayer to protect your kids from the dangers of porn. It’s our best weapon. Use it.

These tips deal with the immediate conversation, but there are also many things you can do to prepare and protect your kids from the dangers of porn before it strikes. Here are a few valuable resources.

Clifford Burton Barrows (April 6, 1923 – November 15, 2016) was a longtime music and program director for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He had been a part of the Graham organization since 1949. Barrows was best known as the host of Graham's weekly Hour of Decision radio program, and the song leader and choir director for the crusade meetings.

Life[edit]

Barrows was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1944, and served as an assistant pastor at Temple Baptist Church in St. Paul, Minnesota through 1945. Barrows joined Graham at a rally in Asheville, North Carolina that year, and had remained with Graham ever since.
He appeared in the 1970 film His Land with British pop singer Cliff Richard. The film reviews Biblical events as both Cliffs took a pilgrimage to Israel. It was produced by Graham's production company, World Wide Pictures.
In 1988, Barrows was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee by the Gospel Music Association.
In 1996 he was also inducted into the Religious Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the National Religious Broadcasters. Barrows' longtime colleague, the late Canadian-born singer George Beverly Shea, is also a member of both halls of fame.[1][2]
Barrows died at a hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 15, 2016, at the age of 93.[3][4]

Personal life[edit]

Barrows was married to Wilma "Billie" Newell (1945–1994).[5] They had five children; Bonnie (born 1948), Robert (1950), Betty Ruth (1953), Clifford ("Bud") (1955), and William Burton (1962). Barrows married Ann Prince in 1995;[5] the couple resided in Marvin, North Carolina.[6]

Donald Trump, President of the United States by the Sovereign Intervention of God ~ Michael Brown

Ed's Note:  Most of us have watched the just-completed US election with bewilderment.  This thought provoking article of Micheal Brown's is quite interesting.
_________________________________________________________________

If God has raised Trump up for certain divine purposes, it behooves us to ask what those purposes are — and to pray for divine restraint on his life.

By MICHAEL BROWN Published on November 9, 2016 • 142 Comments
As the political pundits weigh in on the many sociological and ideological factors that contributed to Donald Trump’s stunning victory, allow me to weigh in on the spiritual side of things.
I believe Trump has been elected president by divine intervention.
I’m aware, of course, that some people believe that everything happens by the will of God, which means that whoever wins the presidency wins by God’s express will.
Yet there are times when there are so many odds against something happening, when it so greatly defies logic, that it is easier to recognize God’s involvement.
That, I believe, is the case with Donald Trump winning — and remember, this comes from someone who endorsed Ted Cruz and was one of Trump’s stronger conservative critics during the primaries.
Just think of the obstacles Trump overcame, including: 1) The massive baggage of his past, including the release of a vulgar video with his tremendously offensive sexual comments along with numerous women accusing him of sexual assault (as reported by no less than the New York Times); 2) his myriad campaign errors, with enough misstatements and inappropriate remarks to sink several candidates; 3) a very strong Republican field, including governors like Bush, Christie, Kasich, Huckabee and Walker, senators like Cruz, Rubio and Santorum, and outsiders like Carson and Fiorina; 4) the massive power of the Clinton political machine; and 5) the overwhelming collusion of the mainstream media.
There are times when there are so many odds against something happening, when it so greatly defies logic, that it is easier to recognize God’s involvement.
To be sure, some will say, “Yes, God has raised up Donald Trump, but it is to judge America, not bless America. He has given us what we deserve, and it is not good.”
That is certainly a possibility, and either way, Trump’s many negative qualities are still glaring and our nation remains terribly divided.
But if, indeed, God has raised Trump up for certain divine purposes, it behooves us to ask what those purposes are.
First, consider this post from Pastor Jeremiah Johnson, now just 28 years old, dating to July of last year.
Jeremiah knew very little about Trump when he wrote these words:
I was in a time of prayer several weeks ago when God began to speak to me concerning the destiny of Donald Trump in America. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Trump shall become My trumpet to the American people, for he possesses qualities that are even hard to find in My people these days. Trump does not fear man nor will he allow deception and lies to go unnoticed. I am going to use him to expose darkness and perversion in America like never before, but you must understand that he is like a bull in a china closet. Many will want to throw him away because he will disturb their sense of peace and tranquility, but you must listen through the bantering to discover the truth that I will speak through him. I will use the wealth that I have given him to expose and launch investigations searching for the truth. Just as I raised up Cyrus to fulfill My purposes and plans, so have I raised up Trump to fulfill my purposes and plans prior to the 2016 election. You must listen to the trumpet very closely for he will sound the alarm and many will be blessed because of his compassion and mercy. Though many see the outward pride and arrogance, I have given him the tender heart of a father that wants to lend a helping hand to the poor and the needy, to the foreigner and the stranger.’
Obviously, Trump’s policies regarding immigration would seem to contradict the final sentence here, but if the rest of this proclamation is true, then perhaps this part will prove true too as well.
Second, consider the perspective of Dr. Lance Wallnau, a Christian speaker and leadership coach who often thinks outside the box. He too felt that God was raising up Trump to be a Cyrus-type leader — someone used by God to help the nation, even though he himself was not a believer — feeling directed to read a passage from Isaiah 45 to Trump (this passage speaks of Cyrus), and say that Trump was called to be the 45th president of the United States.
Wallnau believes that God is using Trump as a “wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness,” claiming, “His emergence is such a destabilizing threat to the vast deal making machinery embedded in both parties that he has the unique distinction of being rejected by both liberal Democrats and establishment Republicans at the same time.”
In Wallnau’s words, Trump is God’s “chaos candidate.” (For my 90-minute interview with Dr. Wallnau on this subject, where he took calls from critics, see here.)
If, indeed, God has raised Trump up for certain divine purposes, it behooves us to ask what those purposes are.
But here is the major caveat, even if all (or most of these things) are true: If Trump, indeed, is a divine wrecking ball, then he could do as much as harm as good, and to the extent that he is appealing to the fears and frustrations and anger of a nation, he is channeling some potentially dangerous emotions.
That means that we should pray that: 1) he will continue to surround himself with solid men like Mike Pence, his Vice President, or Rudy Giuliani, possibly his Attorney General ; 2) he will listen to the godly leaders who have been speaking into his life, like James Robison and Tony Perkins; 3) he will humble himself, recognizing that the pride that has brought him this far is the pride that could destroy him; 4) he will keep his word about the Supreme Court justices he will nominate; 5) he will not compromise the Republican Platform in some misguided effort to prove his moderation; 6) he will do his best not to alienate those who are horrified by his presidency, instead pledging to be the president of all Americans (that would mean, for example, declaring war on radical Islam without declaring war on all Muslims); 7) he will demonstrate that he will ultimately help our nation as a whole (for example, with good economic policies or by proposing something better than Obamacare); 8) he will learn to act presidential (rather than vengeful and impetuous) on both a national and international level.
In short, if Trump indeed is president by divine intervention, we should pray for divine restraint on his life as well, lest this divine wrecking ball wreak havoc on the nation while tearing down what is wrong. May he be a divinely guided wrecking ball!

Billy Graham Classics ~ Billy Introduces his Son Franklin ~ Columbus Ohio Crusade

Ed's Note:  Recently, Billy Graham turned 98 years old (Born November 7, 1918 ).  Bro. Graham was 75 years ago when he preached this message.

He preached, "... say NO to tradition!; You MUST have a personal relationship with God Through Jesus!
         ...You must Repent
                  ...You Must Believe in Christ
                                ...You Must Obey Him!"

What a testimony his life has been!  Here in 1993, he introduces his son Franklin at a Columbus, Ohio Crusade.  In this video Franklin showcases some of his work in South Sudan, and area that I flew in extensively in the 1980's and 1990's during my time with World Vision, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) and later Air Serv during my tenure as a missionary pilot.  I noticed that one of the Twin Otter aircraft that I used to fly is in Franklin's video.  I look back on these years as a significant time of my life when I was able to serve these suffering people in Ethiopia and Sudan.

Stifling Free Speech - Canada Cracks Down On Criticism Of Islam

From Prophecywatch

News Image BY JUDITH BERGMAN/GATESTONE INSTITUTE NOVEMBER 11, 2016
Share this article:

On October 26, Canada's parliament unanimously passed an anti-Islamophobia motion, which was the result of a petition initiated by Samer Majzoub, president of the Canadian Muslim Forum. The petition garnered almost 70,000 signatures.

According to the text of the petition,

"Recently an infinitesimally small number of extremist individuals have conducted terrorist activities while claiming to speak for the religion of Islam. Their actions have been used as a pretext for a notable rise of anti-Muslim sentiments in Canada; and these violent individuals do not reflect in any way the values or the teachings of the religion of Islam.

In fact, they misrepresent the religion. We categorically reject all their activities. They in no way represent the religion, the beliefs and the desire of Muslims to co-exist in peace with all peoples of the world. We, the undersigned, Citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to join us in recognizing that extremist individuals do not represent the religion of Islam, and in condemning all forms of Islamophobia".

While a motion will have no legal effect unless it is passed as a bill, the symbolic effect of the Canadian parliament unanimously condemning "all forms of Islamophobia," without making the slightest attempt at defining what is meant by "Islamophobia," can only be described, at best, as alarming.

What exactly are they condemning? Criticism of Islam? Criticism of Muslims? Debating Mohammed? Depicting Mohammed? Discussing whether ISIS is a true manifestation of Islam?

Is any Canadian who now writes critically of Islam or disagrees with the petitioners that ISIS "does not reflect in any way the values or the teachings of the religion of Islam" now to be considered an "Islamophobe"?

No one knows, and it is doubtful whether the members of the Canadian parliament know what it means themselves. It would seem, however, that the initiator of the petition, Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Samer Majzoub, knows. This is what he had to say in an interview with the Canadian Muslim Forum after the motion passed:

"Now that Islamophobia has been condemned, this is not the end, but rather the beginning ... We need to continue working politically and socially and with the press. They used to doubt the existence of Islamophobia, but now we do not have to worry about that; all blocs and political figures, represented by Canada's supreme legislative authority, have spoken of that existence.

In the offing, we need to get policy makers to do something, especially when it comes to the Liberals, who have shown distinct openness regarding Muslims and all ethnicities... All of us must work hard to maintain our peaceful, social and humanitarian struggle so that condemnation is followed by comprehensive policies."

Whereas the Canadian parliamentarians seem entirely unaware of what Muslim organizations have in store for them in terms of "comprehensive policies", it is clear that to the parliamentarians, the motion constitutes "virtue-signaling" at its worst.

Whereas the parliamentarians might now feel good about themselves, does their vote mean that those Canadians who dare to criticize Islam and disagree vehemently with the premises of the motion are likely to be considered (even more) beyond the pale of civilized society?

Does it mean that only one view is correct and that any view that differs from it will now be, by default, incorrect -- if not criminal?

It will almost certainly deter people from speaking up, for fear that they will be labeled "racists" or "Islamophobes" by arbitrarily creating a threatening atmosphere of political correctness, where those who do not adhere to the groupthink are shamed and ostracized.

Such strangulation of opinion also cannot be beneficial to any country's national security. How can anyone warn the authorities about virtually anything if they have to worry first that their warning might be considered "Islamophobic"?

There were, of course, no parallel motions in Canada's parliament to condemn "Christianophobia" or "Judeophobia," the latter being much more prevalent than "Islamophobia." In fact, according to statistics, Jewish Canadians are more than 10 times as likely to be the victim of a hate crime than Muslim Canadians.

It was exactly this kind of toxic, politically correct atmosphere in the United States that enabled Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, to gun down 13 people and to wound 29 others in the Fort Hood massacre in 2009.

His former classmate, Lt. Col. Val Finnell, told Fox news at the time that, despite Hasan's suspicious behavior, such as giving a presentation justifying suicide bombings, nothing was done about Hasan to see if he might be a security risk. Instead, he was treated with kid gloves. "The issue here is that there's a political correctness climate in the military.

They don't want to say anything because it would be considered questioning somebody's religious belief, or they're afraid of an equal opportunity lawsuit", said Lt. Col. Finnell.

In December 2015, a man who had been working in the area where the San Bernardino terrorist Syed Farook lived told CBS Los Angeles that,

"he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people. "We sat around lunch thinking, 'What were they doing around the neighborhood?'" he said.

The fear of being labeled an "Islamophobe" is real and has had lethal consequences. It is this fear that the Canadian parliament has now elevated into a parliamentary motion, signaling that this sentiment is shared by the highest echelons in the country, those who make the laws.

A democratic parliament presumably should not be cowing its citizens into silence. The term "bullying" comes to mind. Parliamentary bullying and reckless disregard of the freedom of speech should have no place in a society that cares about the values of freedom and national security.

Canada has already seen, to its disgrace, attacks on free speech against Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant, among others. Is this the country Canada wishes to become?

The motion is reminiscent of the US House Resolution 569, "Condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States," which was introduced in the House of Representatives on December 17, 2015.

This Resolution is more detailed than the short condemnation of Islamophobia from the Canadian parliament, but the essence of both appears to be the same: Criticism of Islam or of Muslims is wrong and should be condemned, if not outright criminalized.

In condemning "all forms of Islamophobia", Canada's parliament has in effect done everything the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) -- consisting of 56 Muslim states plus "Palestine" -- could wish for.

Fighting "Islamophobia" is at the very top of the agenda of this organization, which is headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The OIC is aggressively promoting the so-called Istanbul Process, which aims to forbid all criticism of Islam and make this ban a part of international law.

Ironically, the Saudi Arabian flag flew on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on November 2, as Canadian public officials met with a so-called "human rights" commission from Saudi Arabia.

This commission publicly supported Saudi Arabia's mass executions in January 2016, in which 47 people were executed by the authorities, saying that they "enforce justice, fulfill ... legitimate and legal requirements, and protect the society and its security and stability".

That, apparently, is not problematic in the eyes of Canadian parliamentarians.
As recently as October 24, the General Secretariat of the OIC held a meeting "to review the media strategy for countering Islamophobia". The meeting was scheduled to:

"discuss the OIC media strategy and ways to counter Islamophobia in light of the recent developments and hate campaigns in different parts of the world, especially with the increasing number of Muslim refugees in Western countries and the mounting hate discourse in a manner that causes serious concern.

The meeting aims to come up with clear and practical mechanisms for a counter-Islamophobia media campaign that highlights the true noble image of Islamic and contributes to halting the ongoing deliberate defamatory campaigns waged in different Western fora".

The question, naturally, is whether Canada's motion will be replicated in other parliaments in the West. The OIC is particularly active in Europe, having opened a Permanent Observer Mission to the European Union in 2013.

The OIC also recently formed the so-called Contact Group for Muslims in Europe, whose formation was announced at the OIC Istanbul Summit in April 2016, and includes Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Algeria, Egypt, Somalia, Malaysia and Jordan.

The establishment of the OIC Contact Group for Muslims in Europe

"aims at ensuring the effective cooperation between the relevant parties, in order to lay out strategies to eliminate hate speech, physical assault, practices of intolerance, prejudice, racial discrimination and Islamophobia, and to support intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.

Further, the Group can be a platform through which Muslims from various nationalities can exchange experiences, define best practices, with a view to increase Muslim participation in the political and social life in Europe".

The EU apparently sees the OIC as a friendly and benevolent organization with shared values. According to the EU's European External Action service (its diplomatic service, which assists the EU's foreign affairs chief):

"The OIC has undergone important changes during the last decade: it made advances in support of freedom of speech and freedom of religion/belief. It enlarged its cooperation to economic, cultural, development and humanitarian fields."

Seriously? In what parallel universe can the efforts of the OIC to stifle free speech possibly be considered advancement of freedom of speech and religion?

As the OIC steps up its media campaign and its efforts in Europe, European parliaments are likely to experience initiatives like the petition in Canada. The European Union, for one, looks as if it would be happy to facilitate such a motion.

Temple Institute Moves Ahead With Plans For Third Temple ~ Tom Olago

From Prophecywatch

News Image BY TOM OLAGO NOVEMBER 08, 2016

The Temple Institute is unrelentingly pulling out all the stops via a multi-faceted approach to ensure that the 3rd Jewish Temple will finally be built. If sheer zeal and commitment alone could accomplish the project, it would certainly have been accomplished a long while ago.

But as Andrew Tobin for the Times of Israel recently reported, the problem for proponents of this project is that the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem is sacred not only to Jews but to Muslims and Christians too.

The site includes the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, two of the most significant shrines in Islam.

The Temple Institute s growth has coincided with increased mainstream support for Jewish access to the Temple Mount. A large minority of Israelis now opposes the restriction on Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount, according to polls.

The ardent drive to build continues to manifest in various ways. The Temple Institute, dedicated to rebuilding the ancient holy site, is now using new internet tools to bring its message to the masses.

A new YouTube video message titled It s Time To Build was released ahead of the Jewish fast day of Tisha B Av (which commemorates the Second Temple s destruction in 70 CE by the Romans) as part of the Temple Institute s strategy of using the new tools of the internet to bring its ancient message to the masses.

The phrase encapsulates the group s controversial mission to rally Jews to reconstruct the temple that was the heart of their religion until its destruction 2,000 years ago.

Tobin further notes that over much of those two millennia, mourning the loss of the temple and longing for its restoration has been central to Jewish thought and practice.

Our goal is to raise the consciousness of the Jewish people and all humanity toward the central role that the holy temple plays in the life of mankind, Rabbi Chaim Richman, the Massachusetts-born co-founder and the international director of the Temple Institute said. We re very much focused on getting the message out on all the channels of social media and all the things people are into today. Most of my work is internet related.

The Temple Institute focuses on preparing the objects and skills needed for the sacrifice of animals and the esoteric rituals that were carried out by Kohanim, or priests, in front of crowds of Jewish pilgrims before the last temple s destruction. All its work is led by a rabbinical council and based on meticulous analysis of Jewish scripture and academic research.

The institute has reconstructed nearly all the sacred vessels needed to perform the services in a rebuilt Temple, including the High Priest s breastplate featuring the 12 precious stones of the tribes of Israel, the half-ton golden menorah and the musical instruments of the Levitical choir.

The group also works to build support for its mission and itself, which is where the internet comes in. After his cable television show that aired in Texas was canceled in 2006, Richman found an audience for his temple-centric scriptural exegesis online.

These days, his weekly TV and radio shows are among the 914 videos that appear on the Temple Institute s YouTube channel, which has more than 17,000 subscribers and 4.6 million views. The group s Facebook page has more than 186,000 followers. The Temple Institute email newsletter, which you can sign up for on its website, lands in 24,000 inboxes every week.

Most content is in English, to maximize reach, including to the many evangelical Christians who support the group, many through tax-exempt charities in the U.S. For many evangelicals, the construction of a third Temple fulfills a prophecy about the Second Coming of Jesus.

In a further demonstration of commitment to re-establishing the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, the Temple Institute announced it is opening a school for training Levitical priests for their eventual service in a new temple, based on a recent jta.org publication.

The institute ran several pilot programs in recent years and now is embarking on a mission to teach Kohanim all the practical skills required to serve in the Third Holy Temple, it said in a statement.

According to the Institute, the curriculum at the Nezer HaKodesh Institute for Kohanic Studies will include courses on the Temple service, theory and practice and the role and application of modern technology in the Third Temple.

In a separate report, David Israel for jewishpress.com noted that the curriculum at Nezer HaKodesh will also include courses such as The Sacred Temple Vessels Aspects of Engineering and Design; and The Mathematics of the Holy Temple.

We are extremely excited to announce this new step toward the restoration of the Holy Temple service. We call first and foremost upon Kohanim worldwide to support this special project, which signifies a return to their birthright.

We have chosen to use IndieGogo as a tool to enable as many people as possible to be a part of this historic initiative, Rabbi Chaim Richman, international director of the Temple Institute, said in a statement.

Meanwhile, many Jews and Christians await with great anticipation the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple. For Jews, a long-held passionate desire to see the temple restored will finally be fulfilled.

For Christians, although there is some debate on the timing of the rebuilding of the temple the overall focus is more on the exciting impact of this eschatological event on God s prophetic time-clock.

It will signal the imminent return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and the fulfillment of the new Heaven and the new Earth under His divine righteous and eternal rulership. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1)

Signs You Have a Great Husband ~ By Hermes Alberto Carvajal

Marriage is wonderful, but at the same time it can be a challenge. Who wouldn’t want to be married to an incredible guy, like the ones you see on TV, in novels or in movies? Remember, there are two people in a marriage, so both must make an effort for the relationship to work.

But, is there such a thing as the perfect husband? Well, nobody’s perfect, but these signs will tell you if your husband is one of the good ones. And though we’ll get into it later on, having a good husband is something you should appreciate and care for. Here are 10 signs that you have a great husband. Husbands are great people; but the best ones aren’t always on the market or easy to find. If your husband possesses these qualities, you have a wonderful man in your life. Hold onto him.

He Loves Spending Time with You
One sign that you have a great husband is if he loves being near you and tenderly shows it. No matter what you do together, he enjoys being near you. He laughs, makes jokes, takes your hand, touches your hair and makes you feel like a special woman. If your husband can stay home and watch a romantic movie with you, or go out to eat because he likes being with you, you’ve married a good man. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that a good husband is merely one who likes romantic movies and restaurants.
A great sign that there is mutual love in a marriage is the desire to adapt to the good habits and preferences of one’s spouse. Maybe you don’t like going out to the movies, but he does. Maybe you like Italian food and he likes Mexican food. A lot of happy couples adapted to activities they didn’t like before, but they now enjoy them together. Don’t focus on whether you like the activity your husband likes, just appreciate and value the fact that he wants to spend time with you.
He’s Willing to Teach You What He Knows
Another sign that you have a great husband is if he is willing to teach you what he knows and is patient through the process. Maybe your husband doesn’t have the patience to teach you automobile mechanics, but he can teach you to fish or to cook. Remember ladies, husbands can cook too! You should appreciate when he wants you to learn something, even if it seems he’s thinking you’re “not as smart” as he is when it comes to a particular craft. Your husband is showing you he’s the best guy in the world when he really wants you to learn something. If he wants to teach you, accept it.
