Braeside Camp 2015 themed “Better Together” is
looking to be an amazing season with topnotch speakers, incredible ministry
teams and exciting gospel music concerts. Here is the ministry line up
this season. You won’t want to miss it!
Saturday, June 27 will be our Canada Day Celebrations with a great Homecoming Concertfeaturing Kevin Pauls and Friends with The Martins, Russ Taff and other talented gospel singing guests. The concert begins at 6:00 pm. A freewill offering will be taken to support Braeside Camp. Fireworks will follow at 10:00 pm. I would encourage you to promote this event, announcing it to all your church family and friends.
Sunday, June 28 is Missions Night themed Reaching the Inner City with WOD’s very own, Kevin Rogers, our guest speaker. We will take a missions’ offering to support Mission Canada in reaching Canada’s inner cities with the Gospel of Christ. Also, a portion of the offering will be used to bring Pastor Zowa from Zimbabwe to be at our Holy Spirit Weekend. Pastor Zowa has pioneered a church with Murray Cornelius in Harare.
June 28 through Thursday, July 3 is the second week of Family Camp which begins on Sunday morning with Greg Hubbard coming to us from Pennsylvania. Greg is the son of a former professional basketball player and has been a full-time evangelist with the Assemblies of God since 1985. The rest of the week we will have our good friend, Brooks McElhenney visiting and sharing with us in the morning sessions; with Greg Hubbard closing out each day as the evening’s guest speaker. Dan Macaulay will be our worship leader.
Let me remind our pastors and credential holders that our Pastors’ Luncheon will be held onThursday, July 2 at 1:00 pm in the Braeside Cafeteria. Youthful in heart yet appealing to all ages, Greg Hubbard is known to communicate the message of Jesus Christ with passion, humor, conviction, and power. Come and hear my friend, Greg, share his heart and life experiences.
Friday night, July 3 is Next Generation Night hosted by our Youth Director, Mark Colwell. This evening will include WOD’s own Rev. Matt Tapley as our guest speaker. Worship will be led by the Overflow band. Encourage your youth groups to attend this awesome youth night rally!
The Braeside Camp 2015 looks exciting to me but it won’t be a success without you. Don’t miss out on these opportunities to be refreshed, renewed and revitalized!
